To become a Distinguished Modern Classroom Educator, you must demonstrate that you have successfully implemented the Modern Classroom instructional model in your own classroom, that you are using it to deliver effective teacher-facing PD, or that you are providing effective support and feedback to other Modern Classroom implementers.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. You may expect a notification of a decision within one month of submission.
The application process includes three parts:
- Part 0 - About You: That's this survey! We'll ask you for basic information about you. Upon completing this form, you will receive access to our online course platform for the remainder of the application.
- Part 1 - Share Your Work: Upload a portfolio to our online course platform. Our team will review your work using our Submission Rubric.
- Part 2 - Final Steps + Help Us Improve: We are frequently updating this application process to make it as meaningful as possible for educators like you. Before you submit your application, we'll ask for your feedback on how to improve this process. During this last step, we'll also ask for two professional references.
